Privacy policy
Scope and contact
This policy describes the current Little Leaf website, including stories-littleleaf.com and its Cloudflare Pages address. Contact [email protected] about privacy. Last updated: 13 October 2026.
Reading preferences on your device
The website uses browser localStorage to remember saved book IDs, interface language and narration speed. These preferences are not uploaded as a user profile. You can clear them through your browser’s site-data settings. Moving to a different domain or device does not automatically transfer these preferences.
Feedback and email
When you submit feedback, we store the nickname, message, posting time and an HMAC-derived value of the request IP address in Cloudflare D1. The nickname, message and date are displayed publicly; the IP-derived value is used to limit repeated submissions and is not published. It is pseudonymous data, not guaranteed anonymous data. The feedback application does not store the raw IP address in its database, but Cloudflare processes network requests. Email correspondence contains the address and information you choose to send.
Service providers and network data
Cloudflare provides hosting, media storage and feedback storage. Requests necessarily include network information such as IP address and request headers, and provider security logs may apply. The site stylesheet requests Google Fonts, which may send your IP address and browser request information to Google. Providers may process data in other countries under their own policies: Cloudflare privacy policy and Google privacy policy.
Advertising and analytics
The current application does not include AdSense ad tags or a dedicated visitor analytics script. If advertising is added, this policy and applicable consent controls will be updated before activation. Advertising providers such as Google may use cookies and other storage; you can review Google advertising settings. Child-directed advertising and regional consent requirements must be addressed before ads are enabled.
Children and public information
The library is for shared reading with children. The feedback form is intended for parents, caregivers and other adults; children should ask an adult to contact us. Do not post a child’s real name, age, school, address, phone number, email or other identifying details. If such information is posted, contact us privately to request removal. Automated inappropriate-word filtering is not a guarantee that personal or harmful information will be detected.
Retention and your choices
Feedback is retained until removed for moderation or in response to a verified request; it does not currently expire automatically. Email is kept as needed to handle correspondence. Provider logs and backups follow provider retention arrangements. You may request access, correction or removal through [email protected]; we may need information to verify the request. Clear local preferences through your browser. We do not sell feedback records.
